Accessories

SkyLogger supports currently five external accessories:

• the FlyNets from ASI,
• the SensBox from FlyTec,
• the SkyDrop from skybean,
• the Skywatch BL from JDC
• and the XC Tracer from XCTracer.

SkyLogger can be configured in the preferences so that the external devices have priority about the built-in GPS. Therefore, SkyLogger can determine the height more precisely than without these accessories. All accessories also make use of the built-in climb rate acoustics.

The GPS as well as the barometric height are stored internally and in the IGC file. In the graph section both heights can be compared with each other.

By using the FlyNet XC, the SensBox or the XC Tracer also their GPS position data can be used instead of the iPhone's or iPad's GPS positions.

Currently the acceleration data of the SensBox are not being supported.
