XContest server parameters

The XContest server has mandatory as well as optional data.

The name of the server can be freely chosen by the user. The name is only used to identify the server by the user.

The user name as well as the password have to be specified the same way as the account has been configured on the server itself.

The aircraft's description should contain its manufacturer as well as its official naming. Eventually also the generation number has to be entered! Furthermore, a class for the aircraft has to be selected from list of possible choices.

The URL is pre-configured and corresponds to the server's address that was valid before the release of the app. If it has been changed in the meantime, it can be manually modified.

Attention: The URL must not begin with "http://"!

In the optional section the indication if the submitted data is to be treated as private or public can be chosen. Private flight data can only be seen by the user who submitted the flight. If the flight should be visible for everybody the switch should be set to the off state.
