FlyNet parameters

FlyNet

The FlyNet from ASI determines the barometric pressure. SkyLogger calculates from this value the barometric height. The FlyNet device uses the iPad's or iPhone's bluetooth interface. Because of the fact that FlyNet delivers approximately every 50 ms a new pressure value with high accuracy SkyLogger becomes together with its built-in climb rate acoustics a fully functional variometer!

The barometric height can be automatically calibrated by the height provided by the GPS receiver or can be entered manually at any time.

To prevent device dependent height fluctuations, different filters can be set. These filters can lead to a slower response time of the altitude or climb rate determination or to lower peak values!

The battery's loading state is checked in longer intervals. Therefore, it may take a little while till the status is being displayed.
